Our team has over 3 years experience in tailoring campervan travel packages around Australia and New Zealand. We have also experienced the fun as a family, travelling in luxury in a 6 berth vehicle and the rugged outback in a 4WD. Whatever your needs, we are sure we can find a vehicle and itinerary to suit.
We also have loads of hints and tips to make your journey more comfortable and a trip you will really remember and of course want to do again and again!
Our pride and joy is our commitment to exceptional customer service. We want to make your trip as easy and hassle free as possible. We are real people just like you with a passion for these amazing countries. WE will adapt to YOU.
Sometimes our customers are unsure of where to go and where you can actually take the campers. Australia is a vast and time consuming place to get around and if you try to do too much at once, you can miss the important parts (this is from experience trying to see Kakadu in 6 days)! Take the time to research your destination. Aim to travel no more than 200kms per day and have a couple of 2 day stops in regions you really want to explore. You will enjoy your time so much more and so will your passengers/family.
You meet some really interesting characters on the road. We met a cattle station farmer in the Top End who had caught a 4m crocodile in one of his billabongs. When we asked what he was going to do with it, his reply was “dig a hole (in the middle of the campsite) and put a fence up”. When we quizzed him about where he would keep the croc until the enclosure was built he told us he was going to “get his dozer and do it now”! Although our son was not impressed being 6 at the time, we had to leave before we could see this truly remarkable feat (thank goodness).
If you want to visit Alice Springs and Uluru, we have to say take time to see Kings Canyon. From the ground this magical place is spectacular. From the air you gain perspective of exactly how enormous Australia is, and how small we all are and the tiny areas we inhabit. Uluru itself is like the heart of Australia and its spiritual connection to the local Anangu people is obvious. Although tourism has taken over, Uluru is still one of those places not to be missed by overseas and domestic travellers alike.
There are so many places we want to visit and already we have so many stories to tell. We want you to find your own stories, have your own adventures and then make sure you come back to tell us about them.
I think that’s enough for the About Us section of the site...............enough about us.......we want to hear about you!
